Isn't kind of strange, almost creepy really that there is no more talk about the Las Vegas shooting at all on any news outlet. I don't have cable so I don't watch any cable news (cnn, fox, msnbc), but any news I do check out whether its local, internet, radio... nobody mentions anything about it anymore. So, thats it? 500 people get shot... have a nice day? Kind of sad how people pretend to make a big deal out of it for a few days then just sweep in under the rug.
Same as there’s no more talk on lots of other incidents, the attention gets moved on to something else
I'm still waiting to see the surveillance footage from the hotel and also hear the reason why the security guy, who got shot in the leg, fled to Mexico immediately after the shooting. I think I'll be waiting a while...
Or we do not dwell and move forward, we have to same as a terroist attack if we hunker and fret they bad guys win.
Media is to busy with all the females suddenly remembering bad things that dozens of men is position did to them 40 years ago. Media decides what they want us to hear and how they want us to hear it. About time for something else to pop up.
It comes from a self centered society. Everyone is so concerned with #1 that anything that doesn't directly affect them gets kicked to the curb. Myself included Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
We don't care, 5 and 6 years were killed we did nothing, we do care if it's a terrorist attack, but when it's just a mass shooting done by a nut job, we don't care and our actions(lack of) prove it.
I agree that the Las Vegas event would be 100000% exponentially more shoved down our throat by the media if the shooter would have been a middle eastern terrorist.
You can't just shame people without making a few suggestions, what could we do as a collective nation? It is easy to lament and complain but complaining without action is whining.
If you feel shamed, that's on you, Perhaps you should do some soul searching. I am basing my opinion of the actions we have done in the past, which is nothing. I am done talking ideas, only listen to the same old excuses, because guess what, I am in the same group as not caring anymore.
No I don't feel shame, but just don't get what you think people should be doing, if somebody has a different opinion you dismiss it as old excuses. Good that you care but dismissing everybody's level of concern or companion or empathy is rather myopic.
No but to claim nobody cares but you is just plain wrong, you try to shame others because they are not like you or feeling the same emotions is child like.
Its because people care more about their guns than about other americans. If nothing happened after 20 children were murdered in cold blood, then nothing will ever happen. I mean, "the talk" usually turns to wack-doodle conspiracy theories where in some bizzaro universe no kids were killed and the government gave them all new identities.
