Normally don't shoot or practice anything over 40 and wouldn't shoot a deer past that either

I shot my biggest buck to date at 50 yards I only take shots that I am comfortable with!! But I also shoot a lot and also shoot a lot of 3d shoots so I am very comfortable with my bow out to 60 yards. But I love when they get really close. Closes I have ever gotten to an animal was a turkey with my bow on the ground without a blind it was an amazeing hunt. All of about 5 yards!!

I have shot a deer at 35, he ran about 50 yards and toppled. Longest bow shot was a 47 yard shot on a gobbler, his fan is on my wall :tu:

I've practiced at 100 yards just for the fun of it. I put my target on the 4th green and stand at the 100 yard marker in the fairway lol. I've never shot a deer over 28 yards. 95% of them have been inside 20 yards. Serious practice I never shoot past 30 because I'll never shoot past 30.

40 yards on an elk, she tasted good.:D I practice out to 60 yards, but this year I am going stretch that out some.
