So I’ve always shot Montecs and obviously there isn’t much to complain about there. I’ve shot some mechanicals before (grim reaper, spitfire) and I wasn’t exactly disappointed but I wasn’t blown away either. Just wanted to try out some DRT two blades or some similar type of Broadhead. I have zero doubt about these styles working shooting horizontally (ie ground blind) but when I get in a stand I would be afraid they would act like a rage does sometimes and glance off the rib cage if it was a steep angle. Has anyone had any experience with these in this type of situation?
Magnus offers a full range of cut on contact 2 blade heads. 100% made in the USA with USA labor and materials. Lifetime no questions asked replacement warranty. Damage a blade, just take a photo with your phone and email it to Magnus. They send you a new head for no cost to you. They open big holes, penetrate the toughest animals (small game up through Cape Buffalo and everything in between), and they are not going to glance off of a rib on a quartering shot.
I shoot both traditional and modern archery and used a 2 blade broadhead with each style. As said above, Magnus is a great brand to use and has great customer service. I am thinking I'm going to try the Iron Will broadheads this upcoming season. They sound like a great cut on contact head with great customer service.
I got some Magnus Black Hornets for my b-day. I haven’t shot them yet but, I’m excited to try them out next season.
I'm planning to give the Wasp Sharpshooter a try this year with my recurve. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk
