That is the question. Does any one use oil like Scorpion Venom Cam/Serving Lube? I am needing my limb pockets greased, so while I was looking for how to use white lithium on my limbs. I found that some guys are also using serving oil.

Ive never waxed servings, only the string/cables where the serving stopped ... while white lithium will work in the pockets and limb bolts, I have always preferred the red high pressure grease on my bows for the bolts and pockets ... I use the Text Tite on the string/cables, its been reformulated and works better than the waxy stuff of old .... ...

Genesis bows are the official bow for NASP; waxing the serving is not recommended.

I've never treated the serving, just wax the strings. Actually the first I've ever heard of oiling the serving, will have to read up on it.

I have not applied wax in years, buy quality strings and cables replace them very other season, no fraying issues at all.

Definitely do not wax servings, I agree. I will look into the red high pressure grease. Is it waterproof and heat resistant?

Has anyone ever treated the limb pockets successfully without breaking the bow down? COVID is putting a cramp in my bow maintenance without a bow press.

you can get white lithium in pressurized cans that have the straw you can 'try' to squirt into the pockets ... the red grease I have always purchased in big tubes for a grease gun... it will say red high pressure on the tube ... it may be available in smaller squeeze tubes, but I'm not sure how you could get it where it needs to go without breaking down the bow .. yes, the high pressure stuff is waterproof and heat resistant, it is similar to what some mfgers use on the limb bolts when the bow is new .. ...

I actually get scolded when I took my bows in to be re-strung. Apparently you're not supposed to treat the servings according to that tech. I've done it all my life though and never noticed any adverse effects.
