Im thinking of starting to fletch my own arrows but I want to be able to mess around with different configurations such as 4 fletch, 6 fletch ect. Im also on a budget so I was wondering if there is a good fletching jig for less than 100 bucks. Im also not set on doing this so if Im better off just sticking with the usual set up, I may. Thanks for the input

Can’t tell you about the 6 fletch but aBitzenberger will do 3 and 4 and is the easiest to use. I’ve had a Jo Jan, 2 different bohning jigs and Arizona EZ fletch. Nothing touches the consistency and ease of the Bitz. Wish I would have just spent the money on one years ago.

I bought frantic29's used JoJan fletcher.

It's a nice upgrade from the Grayling jig I was using before.

However, a Grayling is a great starting jig to give it a try without dropping a lot of cash.

The bitz also has right and left helical as well as straight clamps and wide range for an offset. It also handles both feathers and vanes. So if you want to try different fletching setups nothing else in my opinion compares.

Can't beat a bitz imo. I also strongly believe that everyone should fletch their own arrows. The more you do yourself the more you know about your gear and the better you become.

I agree you can't beat a bitz. My shooting ability increase dramatically when I started flecthing my own arrow.

If you're shooting compound, an inexpensive and much cheaper alternative are Turbo Nocks, they work great. They push in and are practically indestructible . I used them for about 10 years without a hitch. I've since ditched the compound.

It may be just me but I get a lot of satisfaction bagging game with arrows I fletch. It just adds to the bow hunting experience.

I was in the same boat as you except I knew 3 fletch works so I stuck with it. I ended up buying the AZ easy fletch because it was 40$ and gave me the 3° right helical I wanted. It had a small learning curve but it ended up being super easy to use and my black eagke arrows fly dead nuts. Of course down the road I will invest in a better jig like the blitzenburg but for now I'm fletching accurate arrows at my house, and not paying the pro shop to do it.
