One of my cousins is an attorney. He assured me that some states still have Bar Exams that are handwritten. We are rushing our students through school to quickly. Handwriting is still needed in some situations. Like, uh, when the battery dies on your laptop during class for instance.
Just seen a post on facebook from a friend. She went to Wendy's last night and the computers were done so she couldn't order. Friend told young gal working - you don't need a computer to cook the food - write my order down...they looked at her like she was an alien.
James Kroll, came to Minnesota to speak in January he was a paid to speak by the Minnesota and Iowa deer breeders association. He was critical of the Minnesota DNR's response to the CWD detected in SE Minnesota. Granted being critical of the DNR is more popular than the vikings here in Minnesota but considering CWD was introduced to Minnesota from a commercial deer farming operation I don't think it was a good choice to come and take a check for preaching to the choir. I would add a link to the story but I used all my free stories up for the month on the Mpls star tribune website.
Well it appears that the sharpshooters in the CWD hot zone have shot a deer that had signs of coming from a commercial deer farm.
Today's rant trying to get thru an airport during spring break season with a bunch of idiots that have no idea how to navigate thru security. You know when the sign says everything out of your pockets that means everything dumbass.
I could go on today. I'll just leave it at I want to pack up and leave - just me and my dog. But, I have horses and that wont happen since noone would feed them. Though, I really, really, realllyy would like to go under the radar for a couple days.
Oh hell no I don't need a safe space I would love to be able to just rid myself of the filter and simply ask the idiots Are you rude or stupid? It is one or the other.
Had a few jack and gingers and am calmed down, I need to gather myself and prepare for the lack of personal space and rudeness that is Narita airport in Tokyo. Better lay off the jack I am liable to throw down like Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Yup. I see it every week. Along with those busted for bringing something prohibited in their carry on, like a lady at LGA with crazy big fabric shears, arguing with the TSA drones 'I've taken these on a flight before...'
So my flight from Portland to Tokyo was delayed by 3 hours and 45 minutes, landed no hotel rooms available no sleeping pods available at the airport either. They shut down the concourses at night so I have to hunker by the baggage claim. Yes it sucks still does but I found a 24 hour store in the basement king cans of Sapporo, I will pull thru.
I look forward to Sota's rants almost as much as I do The Ol Mans jokes. Both bring me great happiness.

One last rant, children do not belong in any airlines club room. Last thing I want to see is watching kids play grabass with the breakfast buffet while I am trying to make myself a damn cocktail. Things like that can spiral out of control and then I am the ugly american when I flick a little brat in the ear. Oh sure it is 8:00 on a Sunday morning but my body is still on Minnesota time and it is 5:00 there.
So I stopped by the grocery store after dinner last night went in and picked up bottled water, peanut butter, jelly, loaf of bread and some powerade. I did not have my reading glasses on. Get up this am and much to my dismay I grabbed instant coffee and reduced fat peanut butter.
