well, i ve been out a couple times with nothing to show but some cold feet. its been pretty hectic with family sickness, and my sons mouth surgery, but we got two weeks left here in Illinois, so im hoping to get out a couple more times. this weekend is supposed to be really warm, around the 5o's... so well see if that gets em going or not. will keep ya posted...

The only time I came close to scoring 300 points with one arrow they wouldn't count it... I argued that an elk IS a deer
sorry guys, went out sat and sun. didnt see a thing. not even a track on my property. my cousin has been riding his 4 wheeler throughout my grandfathers property. i think that this has pushed all the deer onto conservation. i can see a whole lotta tracks on the other side of the river that are about 5 yards into conservation. my grandfather owns about 2o yards of property between the river and the conservation line, so i think that i am gonna try and get a food plot planted there for next year, hopefully coacks them onto our land for something to eat.... have a great year, its been fun and i appreciate all that ive learned this year from you guys, Brian.
I have been seeing a lot of deer this late season but no good bucks close. I have had several doe encounters though. I am going out this weekend but I read in a thread that the scorecard is being closed and winner announced Wednesday. That is not right considering the websites home state season is open until Sunday. But hey guys it has been fun!
we had a good year guys!!!! it was awesome being able to share our ups and downs and hope to do it again next year good luck and happy hunting (sheds) lol!!
Fifth place out of thirty two teams I think is pretty respectable so I'm not to disappointed I think we gave it a good run and were in it until the end. It was good to get to know you guys I really enjoyed being on the team.

hey guys thanks for a great season and allowing me to share my first buck with a bow with everyone. It was fun being able to see how we all learned something new this season.
