Checking in from WI. My week starts Wednesday but I’ll be getting out Friday afternoon through the weekend. I’m guessing we’ll still have quite a few inches of snow thanks to this storm! We’ve had a few nice toms on camera, hopefully I’ll get a shot at one.
Checking in boys, beyond excited to get in the turkey woods. Ill be in WV this Friday hunting birds, probably without the bow though. Then my season opens here in Ohio next Monday. I can get 2 birds in Ohio, one will be with the bow.
Our youth season starts this weekend and our regular season comes in on Monday. I'm going to have my boy out this weekend between soccer games and then I'm taking off Monday to see what I can get going. I've had a group of 8 longbeards and a nice bearded hen on trail camera earlier this spring. Hopefully one of them screws up!
Has anyone been out in MN yet interested in how the bird are acting. My first sit will be this Saturday
Got out a little late after work 8am set up called for awhile had a gobble pulled him in he came straight in to 40 yards then walked by see two more off i. The distance one is just walking circles in the swamp the other walking back and forth no more gobbles as of now havnt seen any strutted up
Keep at it! You'll get one sooner or later. Sent from my LG-M150 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Changed spots this is where i saw 2 come through over the swamp bridge and one down the lane heard them gobbling when i was setting up
Well all is quiet other than few gobbles in the morning and 11 deer and a bunch of pheasant and 10 yards from sending an arrow into a coyote its been pretty uneventful morning.
