Ill be back in the blind tonight. The weather has not cooperated with me this weekend. 30 mph winds have not been kind and top that with the winds out of the west limits my stand locations to just two ground blinds. I'm gonna try to get a buck down.

If I don't ill be out west chasin muleys next weekend.

Been a rough few weeks for me. Had to have surgery and just plain bad luck. Finally got a chance to get out and was half way up my tree with my bow on the ground and along came a nice 8pt. Then on the way out walked right into the same buck. We had a nice stare down and way he went only giving me a bad shot. Weather got crazy here in Ohio but is calming down hoping to put something down this weekend. Have good pick on my trail cam so hopefully the come around. Keep up the good work team. I'm trying that's all I can say. Coming from gun hunting to strictly bow is tough.

Well I filled my gun tag this morning on my first stalk. Some ground shrinkage and broken tine but I'm happy with him!

I had a very bad weekend, only got to hunt Saturday, I set up on a very heavily used trail on the back side of our property that butts up to state land, hoping to catch a cruising buck or doe. Didn't see a thing. got down midday and decided to do some light scouting by walking the roads and see if any deer had crossed after the light drizzle. I only saw one set up prints and it was probably a yearling. What I did see got me real excited. I saw 9 rubs and 4 scrapes just walking the roads on my property, all of them fresh. I headed back to the stand really pumped knowing I would see something. nada, nothins. My buddy got there for the evening hunt and stayed that night. I had to head home. On my way to church the next morning, I get a text from him he grunted in a decent 8 and shot him and then saw two more bucks while he was blood trailing his 8pt. I just don't have any luck this year. what is worse I can't go back to the property until after turkey day. But I am heading to Ga and hopefully they are still ruttin up there. Wish me luck bandits.

Well I sat in my blind on Saturday and I just got a call from my grandpa asking if I took it out after my sit. Long story short some a-hole decided he liked my blind and chair and stole it. This is the middle of a 160 acre private land piece which is family owned.

P1030576.jpg I shot this doe on 10/3/12 right at dark. My husband went back the next morning to recover while I was at work. This is the only photo I have of her, does it still count?

Sadly it doesn't! You need two with you and your bow in them.

OK, I shot another doe on 11/21/12 and did a black Friday special on 11/23/12 and shot 2 bucks. I will have to measure the first buck and get it put on
