Im from nebraska but hunt primarily northwest Missouri. I hunt about 10 acres in the middle of hundreds of acres of timber, we have several resident breeder does that bring traveling bucks through our timber. Im also planning on hunting Mahoney state park late season for extra shot at a doe. I currently have oct 30 - nov 7th off from work to really hunt hard during rut and will try to get a weekend hunt or two in in Oct.
Hey guys, so happy to be on this team. I hunt NY which does not help but I will do my best. I hunt 4 properties a 400 acre A 150 acre A small but productive 15 acre that is not walkable due to its thickness. And a 80 acre lease. Let's all try to stay in contract as much as possible. I have also taken off the 4-13 of Nov.

If you took him off our team we would need 2 alternates and team 3 would need 0, makes sense to keep him on our team and then have alternate for us and team 3

I made the team! Double Duece for the win! Names Mike, and I also hunt NY (Eastern side though)so ill do my best not to suck. Im hunting 2 spots, one private family land, and 1 Public land (Stewart Forrest) which is YUGE so hopefully ill have some luck. October 1 the fun begins...
Derek Dirnberger here. Live and hunt in southeast MO (the real big ones are in northern MO which I may hunt this year). I will also hunt in Illinois, I'll most likely hunt in Kentucky, and there's a good chance I'll either hunt Ohio or Indiana...all private land. I'll hunt basically everyday from late October through Thanksgiving. Headed to Colorado for the opening week of elk archery season....not that it will help with this contest....I'm just ready to get started.
Nicecman looks like you have fun and busy season ahead of you, I'll be making a week trip to Illinois this year, found a guy that owns 100 acres with a cabin. Gonna try it out they killed some great bucks there over the years according to all the pics. It's right in Pike county, gonna play the weather and see when I want to make the trip out there.
Also guys I'm not familiar with this comp. But maybe as we check in we can say whether we in fact want to be considered for Captain. I for one prefer to be a good solider but I'm happy to help our Captain any way I can.
I have no preference on being captain or not, I feel there's more seasoned members on here that could be captain but if no one wants to then I would be happy to. I agree fix just say if you want to be captain when ya check in.
