Is anyone having any decent sightings during the off season? I’ve seen one good buck, but nothing but does other than that.
Here's a couple I will be watching this season. Only running a handful of cams but will be deploying more in the next few weeks.
Little intro - Name is Travis and I do ag research for the University of Minnesota and farm. Live and hunt in SW MN. I can only shoot one deer (either sex) so am picky about what I shoot. It's tough for me to say i'll add any points since my time is pretty limited due to my jobs but I hope I can at least get a doe down by the end of the year. Have 4 bucks so far that I would definitely shoot so it's a good start. Planted a clover/winter rye plot and a radish, winter pea, winter rye plot last Friday and seem to have decent emergence so far. Working on a hay bale blind at the moment and just about finished with that so cannot wait to get that out over one of the plots.
I try not to get excited about the pictures because this is a small property and their summer range. When they disperse they seem to go else where but they are nice to look at for now.

Ok so for intros. My name is Craig and I mostly hunt in North Carolina and Virginia. Im on the 3rd year of putting in several small food plots on a 20 acre parcel here in NC and Ive seen some benefits already. Have about 7 years of pics from that property. Virginia I have some cams out too but only shooter on cam their so far is a severely large doe. Between VA and NC I get like 12 tags but I usually only take one or two. I should be able to at least put up 50 points for a doe but you never know.
