I say it’s like the Presidency. You get four full years. After that we’ll have another nomination and election process. No need for Nocked and Locked to vote for a new Captain till 2016.:hail::woot:

Hey by then the four year term will probably be abolished so those in office can stay in office....and of course I'm merely stating this with Sticks in mind, nothing in real life EVER entered my mind....

Sticks has done a fine job and has my vote as staying team capt..

Don't worry Clinton, I have zero desire to be our leader. I would however follow everyone along and use some over-zealous application of a cattle prod to keep ya'll moving in the direction of victory. ;)

I understand. Same as last year. I just didn't want him to not check in and something crazy happen and him not be eligible.

I just gone done putting in 21 hours of volunteer time at the park. Cutting down multiflora roses. It was a great time in this heat and humidity. (not) I look like I got into a fight with a dozen cats. LOL

But anyhoo... at least I have that done. Now if I can make it back to IL, I have a place to hunt. (besides Clinton's and Mueller's... :D )

Christine, My farm requires community service hours. I believe the requirement is 20 hours of watering my food plots since it wont rain or a weeks worth of rain dances.

Less than 2 weeks to go before our season starts. I'll be using a new strategy this year. I plan on hunting my 40 acres way less early season, but don't worry I'll still be hunting. I plan on hunting out at the conservation area that's only about 4 miles from my house. It's about 3500 acres with a nice mix of open fields, agriculture and timber all surrounding a couple nice lakes. There's a good deer population and I don't think there's a lot of bow hunting activity out there. I've located a couple nice stand locations that I think I can get in an out of pretty easily. lots of deer sign in the area and there's an intersection of about 5 trails all coming to someone else's old mineral site. It doesn't look like it's been hunted in a couple years, but the mineral site is still being utilized. I was in there Saturday morning, then back again this morning. We had some rain on Sunday and there was already tracks in and around the mineral site and in the creek bottom. So at least I know there is activity in the area.
