Spot Hogg and the HHAs are always popular and are around that price.

Can’t praise my SH Fast Eddie xl enough.

Why do you want to get away from HHA? As far as single pin hunting sights, HHA is pretty high on the list of good ones. I shoot a King Pin and love it.

Just shopping around. Not sure if I want another brand or an hha again. I know I've been hearing a lot about spot hogg lately.

Is your Fast Eddie a single or double pin?

Also is it a standard mount or dove tail mount?

The Fast Eddie XL is a dovetail mount. That's what's on the bow I just bought and posted a pic of in the thread below.

The regular Fast Eddie is a regular mount sight.

Black Gold makes some excellent sights. I have an Ambush Ascent. Love the sight.

I'm another supporter of the Fast Eddie. I don't have the XL, so I can't speak for it, but the regular is small, compact and easily sighted and adjusted.

This year I switched from the HHA kingpin TE to the Spot Hogg Fast Eddie with the double pin. I wish I had stuck with HHA

I bought the new Triax and I did not like how heavy and bulky the Kingpin TE was. I was intrigued by the double pin on the fast eddie and it was a lot lighter so I decided to take the plunge on it. I have regretted it every day since. I should have just bought a HHA optimizer ultra to be 100% honest. I feel like the HHA sights are much better built and overall a lot more user friendly. The double pin feature is nice on the Spot Hogg, but I was just on a hog hunt in Texas and didnt even consider using it (maybe once I get used to it that will be different). I HATE how when using the coarse adjustment, the sight housing can rotate. They should have made the bar flat on one side to eliminate this.. It drove me nuts.. I only had to use the coarse adjustment twice but I am more worried about the bow taking a hard hit during a hunt and rotating the housing.. I told myself I am going to use it this whole season and maybe it will grow on me. Right now, I feel like it was a mistake. This is coming from a guy that has shot HHA for years so take that for what you want.. but if its not broke, dont fix it.

Well I believe I have narrowed it down to 2 different brands and 4 different models. Spot hogg fast Eddie and the fast Eddie xl. Hha kp 5519 or the Ds 5519. It would be nice if I could physically see the fast Eddie. Only archery shop that sold em around here closed up a couple months back.

I did a review with some close up photos a week or so ago in the gear review forum. I know it's not the same as looking at it in person but may help some what.
