Was pondering adding a recurve to the arsenal sometime in the future.

I’m having trouble understanding draw length and bow length.

Some sources say I need 68-70” bow. Others say double my draw length and use that as a minimum.

I’m wanting to shoot a decent size bow but want to keep it as short as I can to reduce bulk.

My draw length is 29.5”. So a 60” bow should be minimum if the double rule is at play. Would a 62” hoyt satori work for me?

What about riser size? Longer riser with shorter limbs or shorter riser with longer limbs?

Find a good archery shop and work with them. Try different bows.
Can I cry on someone's shoulder? Had a Bear Kodiak, bought and sold it- $25 each transaction. Now the Kodiak II is over $500!
