    That's cool...I prefer my guns to look like guns. So keep upping the speed and lowering the width guys.

    Width on a crossbow helps the shooter keep it level. While smaller is much easier to maneuver, it makes it harder to keep level which makes it a little more difficult to shoot accurately off hand. After testing, 9" width cocked is pretty much a good minimum.
