I'm not nick... but you'll want to keep at least one nocking point on there. Those finger savers can move around on the string.
Ok will do thanks! Hope to get out in the back yard and try it out for a few shots if the neighbors aren't around. They called the cops on me last time I was in the yard with my bow.
Ah... gotta love the 'burbs back east. Out here we've cleaned our rifles out on the front deck and the sheriff just waved as he drove by. :D
I do remember shooting a bow in my mom's backyard in Wheeling. But that was in the '80s and I think the neighbors might have been too scared to call the cops on us. heh heh
Nick have you setup this bow yet? I think I got it pretty good but I am wondering why the bottle is in the way of the arrow holder.
I was shooting out in the front yard a few years ago and the cop drove by and waved. About 20 minutes later he returned and told us we were not allowed to be shooting. He wouldn't tell me who complained though.
Jim the reason i asked about the nock points is because you do need them, i wanted to make sure you had them on there so your nock point doesnt get thrown off if something moves. The bottles sometimes do get in the way depending on the bow design and where the cable guard is located. Just have to mess with it and see. If you already have a nock point installed then you dont really need anything else done to the bow, except for you to shoot it alot and get the arrow flight straight for your form. I can guide you with rest tips etc if you need them but from here until you hit the water its pretty much all you! Practice practice and keep tuning until arrow flight is perfect. It will help you lots in accuracy and success
Alright thanks Nick! I seem to have it set up pretty well for now. The bottle is definitely in the way of the arrow holder and not sure how to move anything around to fix that. Hopefully you or Pete can look at it. I might try to make it into the shop this weekend. My buddy has to go over to get a rest installed on his bow so I might try to go with him. Are you working this weekend?
