I was looking for morels and stumbled across this shed that has a base the same size as the bottle. Cool old buck. I saw him a couple of times during late muzzy season. I probably should have dropped the hammer.

I found a few huge morels as well. Some of them were almost getting too dry, but I soaked them overnight and they cooked up great.

I did the same thing. Seemed like the bigger ones were drying out quicker, but a good soak in saltwater hooked them right up. [IMG]

I'd sure love to scout a public land spot in Iowa and hunt it one Fall.

    Good luck this fall Fletch.

Lets hope that buck still has enough teeth to make it through summer. I picked that shed up about 150 yards from where Justin shot his buck. I had three bucks walk past my turkey blind the other morning that had some massive bases already starting to stick up about three inches.
