    Im upgrading my mathews z7 soon and was wondering should i get my sight or strings and cables first.

    Just how old is that strings and cables. If it's 2 or 3 years old, and its shot so many times. I'd order brand new baracudas in custom color, whatever you wanted

    Why cant you just get your sight and string at the same time? Just don't sight it in until the new string has been put on.

    If its a budget thing get the strings first. You will need to shoot them a few hundred times to give things a chance to stretch and settle in. Once that happens you can really get down to fine tuning the setup and setting the sights.
