How's the hunting been lately? I had a shooter buck come into some rattling this past week. The rut has been a little weird this year in my neck of the woods. I was with a buddy who shot a decent buck last week that was chasing. Maybe second time around for those does that haven't been bread yet? Northwest NC!
Great buck and congrats! I'm another NC Bowhunter here. Split time between Cleveland County and Charlotte.
I will be later this year, getting reassigned to Fort Bragg in September. Looks like it will be my last stop before I retire, so hope to make the best of the next 2-3 years in that area and hopefully meet some folks in the area off the forums!
I don't know how I overlooked this thread. I'm From Gastonia, lived in Monroe, Charlotte, Salisbury and now we live in China Grove. I hunt Woodleaf, Gastonia and will be hitting up the Cherryville farm this year also.
Doug or others...I heard (from my wife no less), Gastonia was trying to push for Urban Archery...anybody have any more info or an update?
It goes to vote tomorrow night. The way it's looking its going to go through. This opens up a farm I gained access to this past year. couldn't hunt it because its in the city limits. hopefully that will change. Hasn't been hunted in over 20 years.

Hey y'all. I'm in Sanford. Hunt Chatham, Moore and Lee counties. Shot wheeled bows for years. Still have a Z7 Extreme hanging on the wall. Shoot a Bear Grizzly now. I have found the older I get the simpler I like things.
