Hey, the yoga lady who got shot this weekend, there has to be more to the story, what is the "news" not telling us?
Not sure but it happened near the tall buildings where it never gets dark at night. I avoid those areas and have made it this far in life only getting shot 1 time.
In all seriousness the cops that do not have they body cams on when responding to a call should be fired.
Definitely a weird story. There's got to be a lot more to the story because you don't just get shot for standing there and doing nothing. I agree about the body cam issue.
They named the officer that pulled the trigger, evidently the officer shot out of the drivers side window from sitting in the passenger seat while his partner was still in the drivers seat. KSTP news story.
Very strange indeed based on what is being reported. She had no weapon, was in pajamas, and was the person who had called 911 to report an assault. What could she have done to prompt the cop to shoot her through the window like that?
Officer had three open complaints about him with the dept......sounds like he had a problem with women. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
Most officers have complaints against them, Not to mention the big one against him was for getting a woman to the hospital Even if he had a problem with women you think he is just going to decide to blast one away that he has never even met before. I say we wait for all the information to come out before start pointing fingers one way or the other.
It's a sad day when you call your local police department and get shot for doing so, was always told they where to serve and protect, and forgetting to turn on there bodycam now looking at firearms because you can't call for help. truly sad times never owned a firearm. Will tomorrow . any suggestions
Can you back up your first sentence with proof please? I like how you start with making an assumption, but then suggest that WE all wait for information to come out before WE start pointing fingers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The shortest double barrel shotgun your state allows w/ #5 shot Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
I guess personal preference. I talked with a guy at my local gun shop he said he wouldn't use anything more than a 5 because then you start shooting through walls if you miss or get a clean pass through. I don't think the great state of NY will allow you to have a gun that holds that many shots any more but yes 6 shots are better than 2 Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
I read somewhere that the woman approached his window. I wonder if she caught him off guard and he freaked. Police are getting shot in the head while sitting in their squad cars by random people running up on them on a regular occurrence. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I agree she may have scared him by walking up to the car, but cops cant just shoot every person that walks up to their car. From the sounds of it the officer in the drivers seat was actively talking to the lady too.
I know that this will be taken entirely the wrong way but I am just going to leave it here. The City of Minneapolis values diversity more than they value hiring the most qualified candidate when it comes to police and fire.
