You can also pick up really bad habits shooting higher poundage. My son really like 45# but after 10-15 shots, his form broke down. So I backed it down. He's still growing and getting stronger everyday so I'm not concerned at all with draw weight. He will get there but the low poundage does the job so there is no reason to change. With a full grown woman, they need do some excercises to build strength. There are products available. I believe lancaster archery sells them. A deer at 20 yards broadside will be dead with a 30# bow using a fixed head like Magnus. Just know the limitations and only take a broadside shot and you will be fine.
