Bought a pair of Red Wing rubber boots a while back. Lasted a total of 2 .5 seasons before they started falling apart. Looking for a replacement pair. Want calf length with some insulation; that won't break the bank.

Little saddened about the boots I have. I remember growing up and my dad buying nothing but Irish Setter/Red Wing. How things have changed when in comes to quality.

Muck boots aren't too bad comfort wise. I just bought a pair last year, so can't say how well they'll hold up. Haven't worn them a whole lot yet.

I have two pairs of lacrosse, cant stand them..heavy and poor fitting
I have pair of Le Chameau that are tottal top shelf, comfortable and well built. I had a pair of mucks that lasted for years....if they still made the same ones I would have bought them again.

My muck boots only lasted about 1.5 years and then the soles starting wearing out.

I got a pair from Tractor Supply. Should have gone up one size for heavy socks.

+1 for the Le Chameau. I’ve had them for years and they’re good as new. Unfortunately, you pay for what you get.

I have bought many pairs through out the years. Some almost $200.00 lasted 2 years. Last year i bought a $39.00 pair of cabelas brand they were on sale from i think $49.00. Any way best fitting boots ive owned, lacking in insulation. They are wearing out but no more then my expensive ones in the same amount of time.
I recommend buying a cheaper pair and replace them every year.
