Does anyone have any advice on how to remove a kisser button without having to take my bow to a pro shop?

Lots of ways.... None are the intelligent option. Spend the time and take it in. Strings are $60-120 js

IMO: Don't risk your strings (or worse if they snap) for a few $s at a shop.

Lets start with what type of kisser. Is it a clamp on style or slip on? If slip on that gets hairy because unless you remove the string you have to cut it. clamp on like cached said snap ring pliers or needle nose pliers can be used to expand the clamps.

It is a clamp on and the only reason I am going to remove it is because it is a larger one and it catches on my lip but it will be replaced by another

If its clamp on just remove it with pliers or similar.

I was imagining the one I used to have that was pretty rigid and slid on and would of been tough to cut off without string damage
