    All seriousness, I can't see myself shooting a dog. The only way I would is if they were endangering my family, not just ruining hunts.

    All you guys saying shoot, shovel and done....I would beg you to at minimum wait until the second time. Anyone who has owned dogs knows full well that one can get loose and take off once loose. You could end the life of a dog just being free from a leash and it's fenced in yard for the first time of it's life. Just remember it ain't the dog's fault, it's the owners...give pause the 1st time unless attacking is all I would say to consider.

    Oh and that is coming from a guy who had a stray dog chase off a buck that would have been my personal best in the 2012 season....I know the pain.

    Yeah but as careful as anyone is one accident for one minute on one day is possible...just sayin'.

    If they aren't actually doing anything or no proof, I see no reason to shoot them. In coveys post, absolutely justified.
