I going to be heading out tomorrow morning for my first hunt of the season. I am more than excited. My question is how many of you ever pay attention to the full moon. I have never hunted it, but tomorrow is actually working out for me work wise so I will be hunting it. It will be rising early afternoon. I will be sitting all day so either way, I am going to be enjoying precious time in the woods. Thanks and God bless!

I shot my biggest buck on a full moon in late October. I sat that morning, got off the stand at 9am, went down to the house, had breakfast and was back on the stand by 11am. I heard the noon siren go off in town and not more than five minutes later a doe walked under me and right behind her the buck. It really made the old saying "full moon shoot a buck at noon" ring true.
