Just wondering how many arrows you all bring with you when hunting? I have been bringing 3 broadhead tipped arrows with me whitetail hunting in my treestand. When I elk hunt I was bringing 4 plus a fifth with a game tip.

I always have 5 in my quiver. Never had to shoot more than 2 but you never know. Better safe than sorry

Thanks for the feedback. I am always trying to lighten my load, but I don't want to be caught off guard. My thought process was that if I missed three times I better get out of my stand and back at my range!

Agreed. It would be time to leave if I missed three times.

I also bring three arrows when I hit the woods. I figure if I can't kill a deer with three arrows, I should be at home practicing, not in the woods.

I have a 6 arrow quiver so 5 broadheads and a field point for me. Generally I carry as many broadheads to allow 1 field point.

I take 5. No real reason why. Thats just how many my quiver holds. Maybe its cause a full quiver looks cooler than a half-full one. No hunting justification for it.

When I'm out beating the brush in the mountains of MT for elk, I figure it's better to have as many as I can carry (save 1 slot for my grouse arrow) just in case I lose one in the brush and / or miss an elk in the middle of the herd. I'd hate to have to walk a few miles back to camp to reload.

With my bow I carry three arrows because my broadheads came in a three pack. That's probably one more arrow than I really need for sitting in a tree.

My crossbow has a three arrow quiver so I have two broadheads and a field point for decocking.

same here, judo point just in case I see a grouse, but even when I do, I usually dont shoot it due to being too worried about noise

5 is what my quiver holds, but will take along some old arrows for squirrels in my pack. Squirrels make good target practice and they taste great.

3 is all I usually bring, one time when I was filling a bonus tag with a doe I only had 2 arrows with me. I had used the 3rd a day before.

I debated 5 or 3 for a bit, but for me it's all about weight on a long stalk or hike, especially hills etc, and really how many times can you reload twice, let alone three times. I choose three.

Tight spot holds 5, so I take 5. I have dropped an arrow out of the stand, got mad at that noisy squirrel. Things happen.
