I've killed many does in my food plots, but never a buck. But I have seen bucks while hunting my plots. They just didn't walk within range.

Still looking for that first food plot in the mountains! But I have hunted on land that has food plots in the mid west, we still hunted everything in the deeper timber for the most part during the rut.. I think out of an entire week I sat on the edge of one standing corn plot one evening.... Now if it would have been a month later in bitter cold conditions, I probably would have seen a lot more deer there.

I have been able to kill four does in one food plot, but I have not killed a buck of that plot. It is mainly a early season doe spot.
