First deer

    After about 9-10 years I finally was able to not only see a deer but to kill one. Everything happened so quickly. She came I about 40 yards. At the time I picked up my bow. By then she had moved down to 25 yards. When I see her head go down I drew my 81# Obsession Def Con M6Z and sent a Carbon Express Maxima red moving at 320 fps into her lungs. I think my shot placement was bad as she went roughly 200 yards from where I shot her. I did get a complete pass through with a 420+ grain arrow and a rage hypodermic but I only caught one lung it seemed. Blood was great for about 150 yards till it got to specs then we had to get on our hands and knees to eventually a grid search lesson learned I suppose [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]
