Hello....Last year I replaced string on my fear no evil bow to spec brace and at a, and double checked all nuts, bolts and that limbs were secure and string installed properly...pulled back and thought I had my first derailment? Put it away, but tonight noticed broken brace piece that spans limb pocket to hold limb in place? Third pic shows piece missing that's still intact on other limb pocket in pic 2! Luckily had destroyer and assassin to boot!
Hey elbowhuntr77 there is really not enough info here to make am educated assessment. The Fear No Evil is essentially a Diamond DeadEye rebranded for ****s Sporting Goods. The pictures included are a little dark and hard to clearly see. One thing that is clear in the picture is that you are missing the cable guard. Not sure it that was a direct cause of the issue or not. Now so what happened? Did you draw the bow and all of a sudden everything exploded? If so, did you draw it with a release or fingers? The Deadeye has been known to roll the string out of the cam grooves when torqued. As a result you either get a cut string or a derailment. So any more details you can provide on what happened?
Here's pics showing piece missing, I think caused explosion. I have proper form and was using hardcore release.
