ok guys here it goes.....i'm super super pumped about opening day this year....i have the whole hill i hunt to myself on opening day and have a stand setup where i'm catching this guy below and some of his friends walking through at all times throughout the day 4-5 times a week...my stand setup is super easy to get into and with the dominate wind up there it should be perfect (i had a perfect tree picked out that had a few more shooting lanes but the wind never blows the right way to set up in that tree so i had no choice but to switch spots)...i'll be sitting all day on opening day as i won't get back to this spot for a few weeks most likely (have another spot closer to home)....the guy i'm after appears to be a younger deer (perhaps you guys could help me out on age/score as i believe i'm horrible with that stuff) but if he walks buy i will not hesitate to take the shot and turn him into my first bow buck and a nice euro mount for my new man cave in the garage...really good character on him with some stickers off his bases and a split g2....he runs around with a nice decently wide typical 8 point that i have a few times on camera that would also be in my sights if he wandered through...i've been shooting as much as possible as this will be my first season with my z7 magnum and i must say my confidence is really high with this bow...learned a lot on here and put in some good time getting it tuned up...my mx3's are flying exactly like my field points now and i couldn't be happier.....starting to get jazzed up with 18 days 20 hours and 47 minutes till first shooting light kristine- you better put yourself in a bubble till opening day...you make me nervous...also should we have the thread title changed to our team name...just see most everyone else has done this...no biggie...plus are we switching avatars to a team one

Season opens here tomorrow. Sadly I won't be able to go home until this weekend. Rain all week will be nice, hopefully the forecast stays pleasant for the weekend.

The season opened here on the 15th but I haven't had a chance to go out yet. I was all set to take a few days off next week and hit the stand hard, but I just found out I have to travel for work, again, so I won't be getting out until next Friday. Found out yesterday my Broadheads are not flying true. Going to paper tune and walk back tune tonight and I hope that fixes the problem. I'll be walking to the stand at 2:30 on Friday if I get the problem fixed
That doesnt sound good. Find the problem yet? field tip to broadhead change? change in setup? change in anchor/shooting style?
Shot through paper and it is tearing low maybe a little right. I'm going to adjust my rest tomorrow and get it paper tuned. Then I'll walk back tune 20-40 yards and go from there. once it is tuned then I'll shoot them all again. I don't mind sighting my Broadheads in for the season.

Got the cam timing on my creed fixed. Also changed my release, paper tuned and sighted in. I'm headed home now. About 1-1.5 hours out. Got to change check if my Broadheads fly true, and then I'm in a stand. Got to hurry though it's 2;30 already!
