yesterday jfergus7 & I got another stand & will be heading out to hang it & check cameras this week. weve gotten a few nice bucks on film & I cant wait to get one. last year late season I had a nice buck come in at last light. ofcourse he wouldn't come in close enough to give me a shot but it was cool to sit & watch him. this year he is mine! 29 days!
Getting close guys! Season here in Kansas opens the 16th. I'll be traveling home the following Friday and grabbing my cameras on my way into town. I'll hunt all day Saturday and Sunday. I'm planning on sticking the first doe I see and who knows about bucks. Guess we will have to see the cameras.
Wisconsin opens up on the 14th.Lookin for a good buck up to gun season.After that if I haven't filled my buck tag I might shoot a doe. I'm going to a pretty good spot on the opener.Ill get working on the team avatar tonight

Wake up guys! Feel like y'all aren't very active! I don't know about everyone else but I am getting pumped! Season here in KS opens Mon. Sept 16. However after class Friday I'll be driving home. Should be in the stand Friday night by 3:30 after filling my feeder and pulling my cameras. Friday night I would shoot a buck and Saturday and Sunday I will stick a doe anytime. I'm very excited to see what is on camera. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and see some velvet bucks! I'll keep you all posted with what's on camera when I find out. 9 days and counting down!!! Guess I need to go make sure my bow is dialed in exactly how I want it, and grab a few things from Cabelas. Lol

The season starts in Wi this Saturday and I don't think I'm going to buy tag, at least not as of right now. I'll only be hunting Il. this year, Nov. 3-8. I might buy a season license instead of the 5 day not sure yet. If you wanna give me heat about not hunting in Wi go ahead I probably desired it. Just worried about EHD in IL. I know it was hard just south of were I hunt last year just hope that doesn't happen up our way this year. Good Luck to all getting out in the near future.
