I was just curious how often everyone buys arrows?
Last year I bought 3 dozen. This year I'm at 1 dozen. I don't shoot groups anymore so I'll probably end up at 2 Dozen this year. Next year, who knows?
I have bought about 2 dozen so far this year and still have a just over a dozen left. now that I don't shoot groups anymore I don't see me going through them nearly as fast.
a dozen every three months
Ill be getting a dozen this weekend that will be my first dozen of the year hopefully the only dozen cuz I wont be shooting groups this year either

I have six left from a dozen I bought 5 years ago. I bought another dozen a year ago but still have to fletch them. It sounds like I don't shoot well enough to wreck them with tight groups.
I buy probaly a dozen a year. But I'll buy more if i need more.
I purchased a dozen after last years archery season. All fletched and ready to go!
I buy a dozen and a half. I use the six extra for target practice only.
I use a dozen a year. Killed 9 deer last year with my bow. And robin hoods. The arrows don't last to long

Do you all buy them just to have them or are they purchased as replacements for damaged or lost shafts from hunting or what ???
Im a newbie so I am just curious
1 dozen every 3 years.
Often wondered this as well. Heck I've got 10 left from the dozen I got probably 5 years ago!! Then again I don't shoot groups and haven't shot much 3D the last few years either. Probably for safety's sake I should think about getting new soon.
Ill probably pick up another dozen here soon and use half for the summer and the other half for the hunting season. I still have 9 or 10 from my first dozen but i lost one from broadhead tuning my bow and the others form 3D shoots.
I go through 1-2 dozen per year.
They get broken while hunting, and explode on the occasional 3D miss.
I always keep back 6 pristine ones for hunting. They stay in the top of my case with Nockturnals installed. I just have to screw on a broadhead and hit the field.

I bought a dozen about 10 months ago and keep 6 for hunting only and use the others as target and practice arrows. I've been fortunate in that I still have all 6 practice ones but 1 of them needs refletched after broadhead tuning. Learned the hard way that you should shoot your field points after the broadheads. Haha. Or you'll end up with an arrow that only has 1 vain left on it. :D
I typically buy new arrows when I'm down to 4 or so. Since 2007 I've only bought 30 arrows. The last dozen I just bought, is the first time I didn't just get a half doz. I also picked them up because I sold my last 5 arrows with my old bow.
I would say on avg I buy about 3 dozen shafts or so a year and I have usually have about 10 dz or so on hand. Most years I am switching and shooting between about three bows. it pays to just have a variety so I can choose what I want to tune for a certain bow.
Certain shafts I will buy if I need them or not providing I am getting them at a great price, and I know I will use them in the future.
I usually buy 1 dozen every time I get a new bow, that's about every 3 years or so.
