tried one of one of last years nocturnal nocks two days ago to see how long it go and just passed 54 hours and still lit. I thought they'd be good for a day or so, but not two plus. any times for the longevity of other brands?

My dad wasn't a fan of the blue nocturnal, said it was very dim compared to green and red

I've been using the blue for 3 years. I have one that's been ran for about a week (on & off) and have been ran through the washer & dryer twice
    Love 'em!

Nockturnals are the BEST. I had a green one I left lit in my truck that I swore lasted the whole week!

I was in the market for lighted nocks and couldn't decide. This has made my decision clear. I think I'll run green though.

I left one on my desk on a while ago. It stayed lit for 7 days and died sometime between day 7 and 8.

I switched to the universal one that strobes red/green. Those should in theory run longer.

Nocturnals are my new favorites. I have used lumenoks and did not like how heavy they were. I got a 3 pack of nocturnals this year in green and had one that would not shut off. Sent it back to the company and I am receiving a new 3 pack I believe.

Does anyone else have an issue with them dimming after just a few hours of practice? When I am shooting (normally in sessions of 30 minutes or so), the nocturnals I have bought (2 blues, 1 pink) tend to dim very quickly. Is it because I am turning them on and off after each time I shoot them? Should I just leave them lit while I practice?

If you guys are getting 54 hours or longer and they are still bright, I must be doing something wrong. After just a few practice sessions, I can barely see mine unless it's almost dark out.

I've really like the Carbon Express Launch Pads in blue. I didn't care for the switch on the Nockturnal's. Personally, I love the blue. It's ultra badass on film!

misplaced that nock in the Irma evac but it was still going sunday morning which was four days. last year was my first of using lighted nocks and while not a necessity for me sure made finding that arrow, post-turkey, easier.
as for Irma, house is intact with electricity. hope everyone else is safe and came out OK. cheers, rick

This is why I shoot them. True story coming.... Shot a pig at the end of archery deer season last year. Couldn't find one arrow. 4 weeks later in the same stand as it got dark, I looked back to my left and saw a little blue light on the ground. I thought no way in heck that's my arrow but it was. Now as to whether it was lit the entire month I don't know but it was lit that night. I sent Nocturnal a note saying how impressed I was and happy with their product. The guy wrote back and said thank you very much and 3 brand new nocks were on the way. Couple days later I got a new pack of nocks in the mail. You'll have a hard time convincing me to use anything else.

Ya they are awesome. Won't shoot anything else unless I have a problem down the road somewhere.

final update on that blue nocturnal nock, after 6 weeks it is still visible at night out to about 15 yards. so one has a number of weeks to locate a lost arrow. had no idea they would go this long.
