Calmly finishes his latte, wipes his mouth. Slowly stands up and grabs a chair and smashes dude with it.
I always am on the lookout when ever in public a resturaunt or what ever. I would hove to be able to go Stone Cold on some jicky jack with a chair and not get arrested. I did notice a tactical error in the old timer's technique, don't wear flip flops man, not ever they look stupid and no traction.
Maybe the guy wasn't really bothered about the burglar stealing a few hundred dollars from a multi billion dollar empire, he perhaps also asked for a "unicorn Frappucino" and thought oh hell no this m*therfvckers gone too far
What is up with the woman who just keeps cleaning off the table top? Anyone else think the guy should have turned the chair the other way for maximum impact?
You think I would run into trouble if I started bringing a louisville slugger with me when I went out in public? I do have an autographed George Brett bat the old flame treated powerized hickory that would be perfect for personal protection. Of course I will have pine tar beyond the label up the barrel of the bat.
It's Fresno. The Starbucks there is probably used to a robbery here and there. I'm sure it ain't the first time it's happened. I'll give the guy props. He did go WWE on the dude and put the smackdown on him. Maybe drop a people's elbow and finish with a rear naked choke next time. Although on a serious note, I don't know if the guy knew the gun was fake or not. I wouldn't recommend taking a chair to a gun fight or knife fight for that matter. He literally put his life on the line. I'm glad he's ok and didn't get hurt. Also glad to see someone teach some of these stupid kids a lesson.
I'm glad he didn't get hurt too, and I agree that he put his life on the line. I have to admire people's willingness and guts to get involved and stand up for what is wrong but the other side of me thinks is this really worth risking my life for? I could understand if he had a hostage and him stepping in would have saved someone's life but just to stop a cash robbery, I wouldn't risk my life for that. But good on the guy nevertheless
Hmmm.... Interesting video. Glad the gentleman didn't get hurt, but it was extremely risky attacking an armed robber with nothing yourself (save the chair, which was good for an initial blow or two...). Watch enough knife-attack videos and you'll realize those can get VERY deadly too, not even mentioning the gun... I think I would have just shot the dude.
That's crazy! It seems the one thing that keep him from getting killed is the criminal had both the knife and gun in the same hand. So he wasn't able use either weapon properly. The guy was lucky, but I'm glad he stood up to him and took him out.
Just carry a baseball with you too. It did proves intent. A cop buddy told me that about having one in my vehicle. He said just have a glove and baseball next to it. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Good on Jerry! Too bad he lives in California. They probably pass a law against using chairs in the near future. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
