Had a great week on Lake Of The Woods. The old farts here might remember this song.

My first Muskie was a nice one. 41"

 

20 inch smallie. My personal best.

 

I love LOTW. You guys do good on the walleyes?

 

We hammered them every day. Nothing huge, but we caught a lot over 21". 27" was the largest. We fished for walleye in the mornings and after shore lunch we fished for smallmouth and pike. The last afternoon, 4 of us caught over 200 smallies. It was insane action.

 

Smallies are my favorite fish to catch they fight so hard.

 

Fletch that had to be a long drive thru Minnesota. It is a long drive and I live North Central MN

 

10 1/2 hours to Morson, Ontario from home. Then a 6 mile boat trip to the resort.

Two questions though...why weren't you holding the Muskie and what's up with that hat

 

We didn't want her out of the water for more than a quick pic. And, that crazy hat saved my neck and ears. It was hot and sunny most of the week! I grabbed it off the wall in the lodge and wore it most afternoons. lol The fish didn't seem to mind me looking like a dork.

 

Looks like a fun time. Nice fish.
