I just started using the wishbone silencers and they seem to hold up pretty well.

I'll throw another vote in for Pine Ridge Archery Wishbones. I've been using them for a few years and have yet to have one break on me.

I have been using the Wishbones and have been very happy. I like that you don't have to split the string to install like with leeches. They can be a bit of a pain to install but they hold up great. I coupled them with Pine Ridge Nitro Button XL's on my last set of Bow String Depot Strings and my shot great and was deadly quiet.

A good string stop does all I need it to. The stock ones on most bows leave a lot to be desired. I personally like the Bowrattler stops and put them on all of my bows. They significantly deaden the sound and any string vibe. Plus they don't sap speed out of the bow

I definitely second the string stop. While it seems like all the newer bows come with them, my used bow (2010) did not. I bought a limbsaver, just because of the setup of my bow and it has taken out almost all of the noise

I've tried a bunch of silencers over the years but always go back to the cat whiskers. I may give the wishbones a try, I've gave them a glance every time I go to my bow shop, but never grab them.

I recently put some wishbones on but honestly the best are probably cat whiskers. ugly though in my opinion.

My bow came with limb saver elephant ears from the factory. The main gripe I have with silencers that split the string is that if they break the peep will rotate and that's exactly what happened. Good thing it was in the back yard and not on a hunt in the middle of nowhere.

    I'm using cat whiskers currently.
