Well we are just inside of two weeks before the big game. Who is everyone taking? Broncos or Panthers?
The logical part of me wants to say the Panthers... The betting side of me says the Broncos. I'm going to Vegas tomorrow-Saturday and may put down a $20 on the Broncos winning.
Jake save your money and go with the over/under on points or more of one of the interesting bets like who wins the coin toss etc.
There is a long list of side bets. I do not prefer to place sports bets in Las Vegas, especially on the strip. Out in Reno say you place a bet with a 7 point spread the game is played and the final spread is 7 so the bet is a push, in Las Vegas you have to pay the juice, in Reno with a push you get the money you bet back.
Great to know on the points - That makes sense too. I've dabbled in over/unders a bit but nothing major.
Honestly, this might have been the best possible matchup out of all the playoff teams. Both defenses are strong. Two elite QB's (I know manning is not the same manning and I know Newton hasn't been around long enough, but based on this season alone, Newton played Elite football). In my eyes, they are both very evenly matched. But I have to believe Manning's intelligence will make things difficult on that Carolina with all the check downs, etc., that Manning does so well. I think Manning will do a lot of confusing formations and audibles to keep carolina honest. Both teams will score points but I think both defenses will keep the game close. I say Denver wins in a nail biter 33-30
I predict there will be some good commercials and some bad ones...costing a small fortune to air. I predict I will not stay within my dietary guidelines that Sunday. I predict Thomas Davis (Panthers LB), who broke his arm in the playoff may see some gametime. I predict one team will win, the other lose. Players on both teams will make a lot of dough, win or lose. I'm hoping the winning team is the Panthers with about a 30 - 17 score.
Heard on a radio show this morning that if it's a high-scoring game then it goes to the Panthers but if it's a low-scoring game, the W goes to the Broncos. My money's on Carolina though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Have a buddy who is with Carolina so I am hoping they win. If Denver wins I won't be upset as I respect the heck out of Manning and want to see him ride off a champion.
Who do you guys think will be the MVP of the game? If the panthers win it will be Cam and I am unsure who the Bronco's MVP would be.
