That's really awesome. I just got a kayak, but I'm going to float the river a time or two before I bring the fly rod with. Sounds like you had an awesome day.

Thats awesome, I love fishing from my liyyle one, just easy lakes for me though, chasing bass

I am headed back to the Gulf but Florida, my favorite place to kayak. Those Blue Fish have nasty mouths.

 

Oh yeah, dropped my pliers in the water after the first fish. Not fun trying to unhook big nasty bluefish with no pliers

Nice catch. If I'm not hunting something then you'll find me and the wife on kayaks at the coast. Might be headed there this sunday for a day trip.

 

Looks like a fun trip! We have been on the river chasing smallies and on the lake after large mouth. It's been a great year so far. I've qualified for the KBF national championship at kentucky lake in march. Love fishing from a yak.


I've gotta get a gopro. Too many fish selfies lol

I love my yak but I don't get to spend enough time in it. Flood tides are the best. I love hunting reds.
