Yeah, I have a few of them. I was just scrolling through Facebook where I ran across a post from one of them. She's asking where she can get a cheaper price for insurance for her minor daughter. She works for the School District and says the price is "ridiculous." I have to just sit back shacking my head and chuckle. I'm sure there's some analogy about making your bed or something or another but I think I'll just leave this one alone on Facebook for now.
I have a liberal sister that would blow Obummer if she had the chance but complains about the cost of insurance every month. She just don't see the correlation between the two.
The healthcare deal really sucks, My employer provided insurance to all employees at no charge, when the obama care passed no longer allowed to provide free healthcare to employees. How is that a choice?

I have a friend that retired early a couple of years ago. He is a couple of years away from Medicare and he told me that his health insurance was over $2,000 mo. He only had one company to choose from and was forced into an HMO plan which dictates that he go to other doctors that he is not familiar with and has to drive a much greater distance to get there. Isn't Obamacare great? I can't put into words how frustrating this is to me, a great guy who worked his whole life getting hosed just because he worked and had a few assets to retire on. Social engineering claims another victim. These are the human stories we don't hear about.
I rarely check facebook anymore,mostly because ,like jrk_indle said,it's almost all crap about how you love or hate the president and how he's ruining or fixing our country. Seems like anytime someone makes a positive post about him someone just has to comment with something negative and then it quickly spirals into a full out internet brawl.Or anytime someone makes a negative post someone comments something positive and the same thing happens. No. keep giving them a reality check. We cant let President Trump take the BS alone. The our leftist government officials, unions bosses, professors etc are not going to give up their power without being forced out. Just like the Castro brothers and most recently the socialistic Venezuelan government even though they've ruined those counties they will not give up the power. The left is all about greed and thats the reason Hillary lost the election her the emails proved to the country she was always on the take. I am personally sick of the violence. I see the videos of Mexican flag waving thugs attacking Trump supporters, beating them, etc. Burning buildings, cars, disturbing the peace, arson, property destruction and more. I am starting to think we need to start showing up more in numbers, but then again, we have jobs. Arrests, hard take-downs, etc., of these hoodlums needs to start happening. You show up in a mask at a "protest", you get a canister of tear gas in the chops. Oddly enough, when I wear my Trump hat, no one attacks me. I wonder if is because I have a calming effect on liberals... or they don't attack 6'4" 300 lb guys no matter what they wear
My sister is 36, married, 2 adolescent boys and works in mortgages. Her husband is a small business owner. Neither one had ever voted before or paid any attention at all to politics until Obamacare kicked their premiums up to almost $1000/mo with a $7000 deductible. Even after that it's only 80/20 with a max out of pocket of $10k. So basically they are paying $12k a year for catastrophic only coverage...and by law they are mandated to do so. It's the only plan her employer can offer and they "make too much" to qualify for any exchange plans. I make a lot more scratch than they do (DINK) and there's no way we could afford that hit unless I really scaled down on the fun and started reducing retirement savings. Unless costs are reigned in they're never going to be able to retire. They voted to MAGA this year, thank God.
Ignorance is an epidemic in this country and it holds no prejudice and is found everywhere. Shoot in a recent survey over 1/3 of the people interviewed didn't know Obamacare and Affordable Care Act were the same darn thing....and some had zero clue what either were..... ....all from the people that could and do vote. SMH
The health insurance thing really boggles my mind. I don't get how the people that complain about the cost are so admit about keeping it in place. I'm loving life right now. The left's meltdown is confirming to former blue dogs who crossed the red line this election year that they are smart and made a wise decision. I hope Waters, Pelosi, and Warren keep talking. Least reported news of the week is Intel opening or expanding business in AZ to the tune of 3,000 new jobs. Huh.
I believe President/Businessman/Commander in Chief Trump will get this issue fixed or in a much better places. I believe Health Insurance in general is BS. I'd rather pay into a private fund that only goes to hostels and doctors and if I die without using much if it the money goes back to my estate or I can have have it put towards another persons health fund. Cut out the middleman/Insurance companies. It's all about scare tactics anyhow. Like most people, I've been filling the pockets of insurance Co for over 35 years and never spent a night in a hospital, had a broken bone or any stitches that I made a claim on. I understand Im fortunate but where is has all my money gone to and why?
I also hope it really shows the rest of the country what PITA complainers the left is about nothing. What has happened? Nothing.
