To My Forum Brothers (and gals)...this is a special place. Man, after a whirlwind since last Wednesday I have been able to collect and observe something: this forum has formed some pretty awesome ties and friendships. Those of you who are friends with me outside this forum on Facebook or in life know last Wednesday I started living at the hospital pretty much with my Grandma who never fully recovered from surgery to remove 70% of her liver which had cancer and remove a portion of her colon which also did. Well yesterday evening with my Pops and me by her side she breathed her last after 30 days since surgery, in and out of ICU and even good days and bad days (Wednesday morning was AMAZING). However as I posted passages and pictures and prayers from the hospital each day I noticed something about those letting me know with quick comments or even the cliche "like" or "sad" face (letting me know their thoughts were with me and family)...a large number of them are friends I have this place to thank for them. Even my Pops a couple times was like who is "insert name" and was amazed how often I had to say a hunting brother off bh.com. So first of all thank you to all and thank you to those who didn't know but I know will say something now...this place may have some tools from time to time...but overall is a pretty incredible place.

Sorry for your loss... thinking of you and your family. It's not easy. I lost my father over a year ago. He was my best friend. He had been sick for awhile, but not a day goes by that I don't think of him and miss him. Think of the good times and celebrate that...
Sorry for your loss, brother, and I couldn't agree more. Some of my closest friends have come from here and the old site. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You will be with her again. This life we are living is really only the beginning of an eternity. Your Grandma just beat us to the next life, which is way grander than this one. Glad she isn't suffering anymore. God bless Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My heart felt sympathies to you and your family on your loss. May your God grant you all peace and understanding, and may happy memories replace the grief soon.
Sorry for your loss Ty. It's hard to lose a grandparent, the love they have for grand kids is very special and I bet she was glad that you were there for her!
Sorry man. I don't know you personally, but appreciate the insight you give in your posts. This kind of support is what we all need as sportsman and bowhunters. We may disagree on things on these forums but at the end of the day we will support each other like brothers and sisters.
