Hey everyone... Merry Christmas... early. Just wanted to say hello... It's been a while... I Hope everyone is having a great season. Two meat deer for me. Hoyt Bow is in the shop... ARRGGHH! Just when things were picking up.
Sorry... I broke out my 45 lb Bear TD recurve. I shot a small buck with it first time out at less than 5 yards but I was still amazed to get a pass through with a 3 blade Muzzy at likely no more than 130 feet per second... maybe. Terrible trajectory with my bow-fisher but a great meat buck and confidence builder with traditional. I have since converted some 4 blade Muzzy's to 2 blade and feel more confident about the penetration potential should I get another shot.
