My friend Eric died this weekend in a terrible hunting accident. Eric and I worked many hours together at Cabela's, spent many lunches talking hunting and hunting together. Eric was a man not of these times and generation. He was a throwback to my grandfather's time. He leaves his wife, 4 kids, and two step kids behind. His house was just rebuilt after burning down last year. So my friends when you are in your tree, look to the sky and know we have a great one watching over us. Goodbye, my friend, save a tree stand for me
Very sorry to hear that. Is there a lesson we can learn from his accident? Its always good to take something negative and use it for positive. My prayers are with all effected by his loss...
Sorry for the loss. Those are the guys we all love. Let's all be mindful while we're enjoying our hunts. Kilboars Hunt Club
Sorry for your loss. Although didn't know him I can tell through your description that he was the salt of the earth.
