Coyote skull

    I just saw this online. It's a comparison of a coyote skull from Ohio with one from New York. Research has shown that the Ohio coyote is a pure blood coyote while the New York coyote has some wolf mixed in the bloodline from many many years ago. I thought it was interesting. Here in NY we also have what's labeled as "coy dogs" which is a mix between a domesticated dog and a coyote. The coy dog is a real gray area though by state DEC.

    I grew up in ny and seen tons of coyotes, they are alot bigger then any coyotes ive seen in wv.
