For some reason I've been watching the olympics this weekend. I can't believe riding a horse in a circle is an Olympic sport.. I can see how handball is popular in poor 3rd world country just like soccer is. The rules in fencing make no sense... And the action happens to fast. What's your take? I enjoy all off the Olympic sports. I'd watch dog terds being picked up. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I hear turd pickin' will be an olympic event in 4 years. I'm hosting a training camp up here at the resort Matt. World Class. The fee is small for such a turd picking venue. I'll cut you a deal any time you want to come up.
No doubt we will see it in 4 years...and I bet they earn extra points if they pick them up by the clean end Bill
It is a gift that is hard to teach, I will say this I switched up and set the dog crap picking world on fire, I have small dogs now and their crap can easily be picked up with a leaf blower rather than a shovel. I am no longer a purist or use traditional crap picking equipment I went mechanical.
I did see the opening moments of the Womens USA rugby game, holy crap what a hit, the aussie got JACKED UP.
Fencing is too fast?? That sport is freaking awesome, that dude that needed 1 point for the win and gave up like 8 or 9 straight to lose was INSANE! Rhythmic Gymnastics is the only one I really struggle with...sure there are others but haven't seen em.
I thoroughly enjoy the more obscure sports. I love watching people that are passionate about things and it always seems that the people in the more obscure sports have a more authentic passion than the more popular sports.
The only thing that upsets me is that sports like Wrestling are being cut. I know its not as popular as baseball but it should still be kept. I enjoy watching all the obscure sports you don't normally see on TV in America.
I think the stupid Olympic sports today are all of those we are now sending our professional athletes to compete in. That is what was great about the Miracle on Ice, today with professionals being sent I don't really care if the US wins a gold in basketball. I'd rather we sent college kids and watch them try even if they lose. Did enjoy the end of the Woman's Road Race for cycling yesterday. Leader crashing on the downhill, than an American who was on the team really to help others win giving it her all only to end up a few hundred feet short of the Gold finishing in 4th.
remmet....the issue there and I share your sentiments is the fact Michael Phelps = Professional swimmer.....Simone Biles = professional gymnist....and so on.
Yes which I hate also. Olympics were better to watch and more entertaining at least to me when we actually sent our armatures.
