    You'd think the Black Lives Matter would be all over that. Swarm the city, protest and threaten residents, and then every murder thereafter they would demand to know the name of the shooter and then badger them via facebook...threaten their families, get on national tv and make statements on the shooters race and why they killed a black person for 0 reason, etc.

    While gun laws there do play a factor no doubt in my mind...the bigger issue in Chicago is community and home life issues. Bring guns back and those issues will continue to plague Chicago.

    You guys are misinformed about the gun laws in Chicago, the community is not disarmed. The gun laws have gotten MUCH better. Handguns are legal and they're pretty good about giving CWP's.
    The problem is gangs. They have a nonstop war going on in certain areas, and police/mayor aren't doing much about it. Stay out of those areas, you won't get shot
