Did anyone else watch the short segment today of Obama talking about the shooting in Orlando? Like I thought he would make it a gun issue and how it is SO easy to walk out of the store with a assault weapon. He also said that the shooter had a glock that had lots of clips in it. He is really clueless.

Sad that people... 1. Jump straight to guns but ignore why someone would be motivated to do something like this. 2. Are still calling these guns assault rifles.

Why politicize the tragedy, oh that's right it is the agenda blame the gun and ignore the faith of the shooter.

The answer is not stricter gun laws... People are stabbed to death all the time, should we ban knives?

"Knives are different than assault rifles in that you can be stopped much quicker."

Someone could kill 50+ people using their car in a matter of a few minutes, should we ban cars?

The entire religion is radical and extremist. It was founded by a radical murderer and their Holy texts preach radical extremism. It's just that some choose not to be devout enough to follow the religious texts to the letter.

My police department suffered a horrible tragedy this year when one of our officers was shot to death by a man using an AK-47. Two other officers were shot and nearly killed during that event as well.

Still i'd put money 99% of the officers on our department still believe in the freedom of the citizens to carry concealed weapons and the right to carry and own semi-automatic and automatic weapons. People make the choice to kill, not the gun.

The Orlando shooter doesn't represent all Muslims. So why does he represent all gun owners? I don't get the agenda some of these politicians are pushing.

Saw this on Facebook - So true.

I stand behind you in line at the store with a smile on my face...and a gun under my shirt and you are none the wiser, yet you are safer for having me next to you. I won't shoot you. My gun won't pull it's own trigger. It is securely holstered with the trigger covered. It can't just go off. However, rest assured that if a lunatic walks into the grocery store and pulls out a rifle, I will draw my pistol and protect myself and my family and therefore protect you and your family. I may get shot before I can pull the trigger...but, I won't die in a helpless blubbering heap on the floor begging for my life or my child's life. No, if I die it will be in a pile of spent shell casings. I won't be that victim. I choose not to be. As for you, I don't ask you to carry a gun. If you are not comfortable, then please don't. But I would like to keep my right to choose to not be a helpless victim. There is evil in the world and if evil has a gun, I want one too.

Just take a look back through history and see what this religion has contributed. Hate and violence. Most people do t know that north Africa and much of the middle East was Christian. What happened? The Muslims killed the ones that wouldn't convert and imposed their ideology just like their trying to do to the west now. That is the religions MO.

It's no small wonder that everyone of these animals from the shooters at the military bases to the guys at the Boston Marathon to the ones in California to the one in Orlando all subscribe to this garbage.

Their leaders can get on tv and talk about how peaceful they are all day and all night and that these are just the actions of a few, but look around the world at what's going on. Actions speak much louder than words.

The fox is in the hen house and our government doesn't have the balls to admit it. It's shameful.

What I can't believe is the FBI interviewed this guy TWICE and knew he has contact with an ISIS member. The FBI felt he didn't pose a significant threat to do anything like this.

I'M SORRY BUT YOU YOU HAVE INTERVIEWED HIM TWICE AND INVESTIGATED HIM FOR CONTACT WITH AN KNOWN ISIS MEMBER, MAYBE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON A WATCH LIST AND NOT BEEN ALLOWED TO PURCHASE A FREAKING FIREARM OF ANY KIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wake up American government and start paying attention. I'm all for citizens having guns and the right to bear arms. But there are some people who should not be able to buy firearms and this guy should have been one. I don't know what the gun laws in Florida are but there should have been some sort or waiting period if there was not. If there was, it failed.

The dude bragged to his co-workers that he had Taliban connections and his father is a known Taliban sympathizer from Afghanistan. He talked to his current wife about targeting Disney world and scared his co-workers so badly that they reported him twice, yet he was given clearance to have weapons and guard government buildings. Insane... this guy should have been in a hole somewhere.

I have had to remove myself from the national news stuff as much as possible, especially politics. I know I should pay attention because of the gun issues, but it gets me so wound up and its simply not healthy for me.

But I will say this. The liberal media and this administration are completely inept. This administration is part of the problem. Rather than address the hard and difficult issue that we are living among a growing population of radical muslims and extremist that are being left into this country by the government and will sooner or later do their nasty deed, they choose to deflect attention on guns, racism, flags, etc. The underlying problem is not being addressed. Whats more, our society turns a blind eye to the mentally ill who eventually snap and do similar things. These issues are much more difficult or less popular than gun control. Even more sad, is the fact that most sheep in this country blindly follow along with whatever drivel the media spews out. Look at the latest, where they claim more mass shootings happen in the US than any other country. Do a bit of research and you'll discover thats simply construing the numbers. Per capita, if you take populations into account, the US is actually 7, still high, but on par with the rest of the highly populated nations in the world.

It will be cold day in hell before the government will ever tell me how to protect myself and my family. If someone is a threat to me, my wife or my kids, they better have good aim and be faster than me because I will empty the clip on them.

It's worse than that, the fox convinced the farmer to hire him to guard the hen house. Look at this administration...we have a potus who was raised by socialists, apprenticed under a socialist, was raised by muslim socialists and was educated in islamic schools. Then came to the US and went to college at Harvard...a socialist bastion and was groomed by a socialist terrorist Mr. Ayers and launched his political aspirations from the same socialist terrorists living room. Now this guy's administration has been comprised of an alarming number of members of the muslim brotherhood and Hillary Clinton who's close personal aid is the daughter of one of the leading members of the muslim brotherhood...who is also Anthony Weiner's wife.

And people are surprised at this guys response to muslims killing people....or the fact that he's a huge advocate for bringing them in by the droves...SMH....
