Time to say goodbye to my old friend Ragey . He's been the best dog I've ever owned. A true contradiction of a pitbulls reputation. The most gentle, sweet, loyal buddy a man could ask for. He loved kids, digging for moles, and riding in the car. I can't be selfish and let him suffer. I'm gonna miss him bad.
They are part of our life but we are their whole life. He's counted on you to do what's best for him for his whole life. Don't let him down now. I've been in your shoes and it sucks.
Deepest hole i ever dug was the one I put my german shepard in, I knew when I was done digging the dog was going in and he was gone. Cried like a baby burying that dog, it never gets easier to put a dog down.
It's always tough losing a pet as they become family. Clearly you can see/determine what's best for him and that's honorable. Those decisions are never easy...I've done it three times. Hang on to the memories, gather yourself and in time you'll be ready to find a new family member.
