I was at the only banquet that I make sure to go to every year and my kids and I did pretty damn good last night. Justin won a CVA muzzleloader, Ally won a range finder and I was lucky enough to win one of the sponsor guns a Tikka .243 which I can use the retail value towards any gun in the store and a Primos double bull blind. I am already looking forward to gun shopping
I have been very lucky with the sponsor guns and the door prizes but I can not win anything from those raffle tickets that you buy at the banquets.
Ooooooo. Its even a really nice one. Nice get! I really like CVA's after using them now. I thought I was cheaping out when I got my Optima instead of a TC but I'm had really good luck with it and its got an awesome trigger. I honestly can't see what a TC could do better on. The CVA is crazy accurate and is just a really nice gun for a lot less money.
The crazy part is winning the gun was not even close to the best part of the night for me. An older guy and his two sons came up to me to tell me that they have been buying the mineral and attractants I donate in the silent auction for years. They told me about a buck that they figured was 150" two years ago and then showed me the picture with the Dad and the buck after he shot him last year. It grossed 197" and the thanks, smiles and hand shakes definitely made my night.
All those weapons and still wont kill anything I always wanted to be the a-hole that won more than one gun I guess if it cant be me it may as well be you
