So my wife says she wants to go to a store when we were out tonight. I asked what store and she says Hobby Lobby. I am thinking ok I haven't been to a hobby store in a long time, and wondered what she wanted to get for the kids. I walk in and instantly said WTF is this. I don't know who has been to one of these damn stores but let me tell you there are no trains, games and baseball cards!

They could at least call them what they are now... craft stores.

That is what I am saying. It totally caught me by surprise. My wife was not happy when I said WTF you tricked me into coming in this store.

You are not the first person to mention bedazzled since I said where I was.

Last time my wife went to a Hobby Lobby, there was a ****'s Sporting goods two doors down. All the hunting stuff was on sale.

Neither one of us had anything to complain about.

It also saved me money because she knew that whatever she spent would be matched so she ended up leaving with just a few trinkets and I only picked up a new ground blind seat.

I'm pretty sure that the respective store owners intended for things to work in an opposite manner.

I was screwed next door was a dollar store and next to that was a Big Lots. When I pulled in the parking lot I should have known.

Oh man. Smh. We have one of these. My wife gets a female erection when she gets to go there. Why in the heck is the word Hobby in the name anyway?

Then they say things like "I'll only be a minute".

    This is a lie....

Now we know how they feel when we pull into the Home Depot, Cabelas, Lows, Bass Pro Shops, Ace, etc, etc.

However, in general, a guy knows where his items are in the store and can get in and out without too much extra junk. Women seem to go into Hobby Lobby with no plan and decide what they NEED after they get inside.

I'll have to admit it. I'm just like a woman at Hobby Lobby when I walk into an archery shop or sporting goods store. There is no in and out lol.

Not all of them. One in town is an actual hobby store and bow shop. I try not to spend a lot of money when I go in there.

If that's the best trick that she can pull on you, you'll survive
Better make sure that she doesn't talk to my wife, she pulls off some real tricks!!!!!!!!

(like in college she stole the keys to my Porsche and then called and asked me for a ride to class! Boy did I feel stupid when the officer that took my "missing car" report kindly dropped me off at her place only to see my car in her driveway!)
