Gotta love a good Noreaster. Here in State College, PA, we dodged the bullet with only 6-8 inches. It was a strange storm though. About 30 minutes south of me, friends have close to 18 inches, an hour southwest of me, 34 inches and counting. Fun to watch on the weather channel though!
Two feet give or take a few inches. I shoveled so much snow I put myself into the bed for several hours. My back was hurting like hell. Like Ruger said, tomorrow is going to be terrible.
Right at 30 inches here in N. VA, snow has stopped but the wind is howling and drifting what fell. I agree...tomorrow is going to be a very long, painful day......sigh. Bill
I'm in the Saratoga NY area (hour north of Albany and 3 hours north of NYC) and not a single snowflake. We haven't seen snow in a while. About 5" total all season so far.
Western ma. Just dust here. I was kinda hoping for an inch so coyote hunting would be a little easier. We can't use a light so with no snow you can't see at night. On the other hand The last 3 or 4 yrs. we've have 6 or 7 ft. by now and you could not even get into the woods. Its almost the end of jan. and we've had an inch or two total.
here in nw pa right in the snow belt we are all having fun watching everyone whine about snow. as long as no one is hurt or freezing to death. heck we get feet at a time often and life doesn't stop schools don't close. just another day living in a lake effect snow area. maybe I should take my plow down there and make some $$$$$$. everyone down there be safe!
I really don't get the idiots trapped on the roads, they were talking about this storm 2 days before it happened it didn't sneak up on anyone.
Some areas have had up to 40 inches of snow. Some areas are now flooding. At least 14 people are dead.
As you you know, Muzzy, I'm a little over an hour east of you and we never saw a flake. This storm was so banded, it wasn't funny. I feel like we were cheated. Sent from Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
I got hit with about 18" here. Took care of most of it yesterday, so the clean up won't be bad today. Just got to plow the driveway again and clean the cars off, then ready for work on Monday. But it is crazy a hour west of me they got double the amount of snow and 2 hours southeast of me they got rain and coastal flooding.
Sw PA here bout an hr south of Pittsburgh we got about 15 inches. 20 min away from us in seven springs ski resort got probably 2ft. Most snow we have seen at once in a while
We got about 3" at the top of Winter Park CO and about a half an inch at the bottom of the hill,\.Good skiing was had by all
